VOLCANOLOGY MUSEUM OF ETNA
The Volcanology Museum of Etna is situated in the historical house of the Gemellaro family - scholars and volcanologists of Etna The Museum has two sections: a documentary centre with a collection of photographs and 'gigantographs' which represent the various evolutionary phases of the eruptions, a plastic scale-model representation of the whole Etna territory. In the other section, you can admire samples of lava products such as ash/lava formations, crystals etc. etc. There is also a projection room with films on various themes in different languages.
